It’s Spring Again

The breeze tickles my cheeks

And sends winter away

All that’s left are puddles

It’s spring again

This feeling is making me weak

It’s something I can’t contain

I feel like I shall burst anytime

It’s spring again

I watch as the clouds leak

Covering the grass in a fine mist

The air is cleaner than ever

It’s spring again

A bird cracks its shell with its beak

Stumbling, it tries to fly

Catching a branch as it goes down

It’s spring again

We’re playing a game and I cheat

How can I help it

Your smile’s so sweet

It’s spring again

After awhile we take a seat

We pretend the clouds are giants

And their shadows will hurt us

It’s spring again

I desperately seek

A friend to reminisce the bygone days

Of all the springs that’s past

It’s spring again
