For the end of the summer, I set four goals for myself. I was going to plot three future books, read more, take up a non-writing hobby, and write at least 500 words per day. Unfortunately, I only managed to plot a short story and my current main writing project. Instead of going through a 300 page book in two months, I’ve upped my reading game to one and a half books per month. I haven’t taken up a non-writing hobby yet, nor have I gotten to the point where I write 500 words per day consistently. (I’m working up to it, though. By the end of the year, I should reach that goal.) On the bright side, I’ve written another short story and am slowly working on my first novella.
What I have left to do is (lightly) edit my posts, catch up with my daily word count, and take up a separate hobby. I’ve been thinking about taking up piano or I might just start reading even more. Hopefully both.
For the rest of this month, I’m going to update once a week. I probably won’t be able to update that often once November rolls around because my work in progress will be in full swing.
