I know I've been pretty quiet on here, but not for nothing. I've been writing and have completed multiple drafts of projects, am putting together a horror anthology, and have been preparing to launch my Patreon. I will be posting dark fantasy, erotic horror, and slasher romance short stories, poetry, novellas, and serialized fiction on … Continue reading Patreon Lauch

From Ashes to Magic: Deleted Scene
In celebration for From Ashes to Magic's release this upcoming Monday, I decided to dive into my files. Much to my joy, I found several deleted scenes from my short story in From Ashes to Magic, Life and Death. After going though them, I settled on my favorite bit that didn't make it to the … Continue reading From Ashes to Magic: Deleted Scene
My Semi-Secret WIPs and a Joint Project
Phantom Thirst is YA supernatural mystery that was born in a Twitter comment section about a stalkerish ghost, sexually confused vampires, and heroine who just can't even. The amazing Kate and I are writing a story that we've dubbed Signy and Sarah involving time travel, books, and an ex-shield maiden who is sincerely enchanted by … Continue reading My Semi-Secret WIPs and a Joint Project
Dreamy Book Cover Tag
Tiana from The Book Raven came up with the Dreamy Book Cover Tag and I couldn't resist doing it. I'm going to use the books that I've read this year for this challenge. I'm tagging jenacidebybibliophile, A Whisper of Ink, and conquerorofworlds to complete this tag. I hope you enjoy this! The Rules: 1. Thank the … Continue reading Dreamy Book Cover Tag
Quarterly Writing Goals: October, November, and December 2017
The last few months have been hectic to say the least. Work, writing, and whatnot have dominated any free time I have had, but now I'm getting back into a working schedule (as opposed to the chaotic mess of before). Of course, I'm in the midst of writing the second book of a five-book series, … Continue reading Quarterly Writing Goals: October, November, and December 2017
Book Haul: Friday the 13th
Yesterday I braved the ominous weather and raided the local library's book sale. I went from amassing two hundred books and DVDs then downsized to about forty-four items. My wallet is sad and deflated but my library is overflowing, so it was a good decision. Here are the DVDs.
Welcome to Chi-Town!
Despite the threat of a horrid downpour, my mother and I defied the weather and went to Chicago. The train ride there was relaxing and nap-inducing. The countryside changed into urban, and fellow passengers filled the nearly empty train as we approached our destination. Once we got off at Millennium Station, we got a little … Continue reading Welcome to Chi-Town!
Quarterly Writing Goals: July, August, and September 2017
Three months ago, I came up with a list of goals for the second quarter of the year. They were to update this blog regularly, finish planning the second book in my 5-book series, finish typing the first book, to finish a short story I've been working on for ages, and to keep reading. I … Continue reading Quarterly Writing Goals: July, August, and September 2017
Book Haul: Spring 2017
Here are the books I got from the local library's book sale that they have twice a year... ... and the DVDs.
Quarterly Writing Goals: April, May, and June 2017
At the end of last year, I drew up a list of goals for this blog and other writing projects for the first three months. What I wanted to do was update this blog regularly, write a short story, and continue planning my 5-book series. While I didn't write a short story, I did finish … Continue reading Quarterly Writing Goals: April, May, and June 2017
